1. Analysis of 3.5Ni steel material

3.5Ni low temperature pressure vessel nickel alloy steel plate, 3.5Ni ship and marine engineering low-temperature toughness steel plate, 08Ni3DR low temperature pressure vessel steel plate, SA203GrD, SA203GrE, and SA203GrF American standard pressure vessel nickel alloy steel plate are all made of 3.5Ni steel, which is a low-temperature environment steel with a nickel content of about 3.5%.

2. 3.5Ni steel execution standard:

Executive standard for nickel alloy steel plates for 3.5Ni low-temperature pressure vessels: GB/T 24510 (this standard applies to nickel alloy steel plates with a thickness not exceeding 150mm for liquefied gas storage and transportation devices)

3.5Ni low-temperature toughness steel for ships and marine engineering execution standard: GB/T37602-2019 (This standard is applicable to carbon manganese low-temperature steel and nickel series low-temperature steel for liquefied gas transport ships, polar ships, and low-temperature marine engineering, and is suitable for steel plates with a thickness not exceeding 60mm)

The execution standard for steel plates used in 08Ni3DR low-temperature pressure vessels is GB 3531-2014 (this standard applies to steel plates with a thickness of 5mm~120mm used in the manufacturing of low-temperature pressure vessels at -196 ℃~-20 ℃)

SA203GrD, SA203GrE, SA203GrF American standard nickel alloy steel plates for pressure vessels shall comply with ASME SA203/SA203M (the nickel alloy steel plates in this standard are mainly suitable for welding pressure vessels, and the upper limit thickness of this grade of steel plate is 100mm)

3. Delivery status of 3.5Ni steel:

1> Nickel alloy steel plates for 3.5Ni low-temperature pressure vessels should be delivered in a quenched and tempered state. With the consent of the purchaser, steel plates with a thickness not exceeding 12mm can also be delivered in a normalized, normalized, and tempered state

2> 3.5Ni low-temperature toughness steel for ships and marine engineering can be delivered in the state of thermal mechanical rolling (TMCP), normalizing, normalizing+tempering, or quenching+tempering

3> Steel plates for 08Ni3DR low-temperature pressure vessels shall be delivered in the normalized or normalized+tempered state, or in the quenched+tempered state, and the tempering temperature shall not be lower than 600 ℃

4> The nickel alloy steel plate for SA203GrD American standard pressure vessels should be delivered in a normalized state. With the consent of the purchaser, in order to improve the toughness of the steel, it can also be delivered in a quenched and tempered state, and the tempering temperature should not be lower than 595 ℃
